Luc Augustin

Luc Augustin is currently an Associate Professor at Eindhoven University of Technology and the CTO at SMART Photonics. With a background in electrical engineering, Luc has extensive experience in process development for photonic devices, specifically focusing on photonic integrated circuits. Luc is also involved in various organizations such as Photonics21 and the IEEE Photonics Society Benelux Chapter. Prior to their current roles, Luc has worked in research and development roles at various companies, contributing to the advancement of opto-electronic and photonic integrated devices. Luc's Ph.D. research focused on Polarization Handling in Photonic Integrated Circuits.
