Alicia G. is an experienced writer and editor with a robust background in journalism and content creation. Currently serving as an Assistant Editor at Scholastic since May 2021, Alicia pitches and crafts articles aimed at third to sixth graders while also ensuring accuracy through fact-checking and proofreading. As a Contributing Writer for Smart + Strong since November 2021, Alicia interviews subjects and writes for POZ magazine. Previous roles include Freelance Writer for Spooky Cheetah Press, LLC, and DAP Health, and Assistant Editor at Smart + Strong, where editorial skills were honed. Early career experiences include a Records Clerk position at Alcoholics Anonymous World Services and various assistant roles at Point Park University, where Alicia developed strong communication and organizational skills.
