José Luis Blanco

José Luis Blanco has extensive work experience in various financial and operational roles.

José Luis started their career as a Cycling's Universe Manager at Decathlon Internacional in 2005, where they managed the department's finances and product strategy.

In 2006, José worked as a Financial Operator at Banco Mediolanum, providing financial advice and executing operations for clients. José Luis also joined PwC as an Assurance Supervisor, leading teams on projects for clients such as Imagina Media Audiovisual and Gas Natural Fenosa.

From 2012 to 2013, José served as an Interim Financial Consolidation Controller at Naturgy, where they managed financial statements for an international group of companies.

In 2013, they became the Director of Finance and Operations at Eminpack, S.A., overseeing financial statements and budget processes.

José joined Workkola Inc. in 2017 as a Platform Student & User, collaborating with startups on various challenges related to business digitization.

José Luis then took on the role of CFO at Playground from 2020 to 2021 and TipsterChat from 2021 to 2022, where they managed financial operations.

Most recently, José joined Smart Point in 2023 as a Chief Financial Officer, leading the company's financial strategy.

Throughout their career, José has also been a Partner at Making Ideas Business, S.L., where they evaluated and invested in promising digital start-ups, and gained experience in a wide variety of markets.
