Chinweizu Okeke

Chinweizu Okeke is a research associate at Smart Prosperity Institute, with a focus on labor conditions for clean technology investments and regional workforce readiness. Previous experience includes a role at the Canadian Council for Youth Prosperity, where Chinweizu co-authored impactful reports on youth economic prospects during the pandemic and worked on improving labor outcomes for Black Canadian youth. Chinweizu has served as a Black Youth Fellow for the City of Toronto, enhancing social media strategies and engaging with stakeholders on employment standards. Additional roles include research assistance at ABC Life Literacy Canada and Road Home Research & Analysis, and a compliance analyst position with the BRICS Research Group. Chinweizu holds a Master of Science in International Public Policy from UCL and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Toronto.
