Jerry Fetty

Jerry Fetty has a diverse work experience that spans over several decades. Jerry started their career in 1985 as a Network Engineer at a Michigan-based IT services firm, where they worked until 1990. In 1991, Jerry founded SMART I.T. Services, Inc. and served as the CEO and Founder. Under their leadership, the company grew from a one-person consulting firm to a prominent technology services firm in the Midwest region. Jerry assisted insurance agencies, carriers, and medical offices with their automation challenges and also developed and patented an S. system. Jerry continued to be CEO of SMART I.T. Services, Inc. until at least 2010. In 2012, they joined the Star Line Mackinac Island Hydro-Jet Ferry company as a Member of the Board of Directors. In 2013, they assumed the role of CEO and President at the company.

Jerry Fetty has a diverse education history in various fields. Jerry holds a certification as a Certified Everything DiSC Trainer from Wiley. In 2003-2004, they attended Cisco Systems where they earned a degree as a Wireless Field Engineer (CWFE) with a focus on Wireless Networking. In 2000, they also attended Cisco Systems and obtained a degree as a Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA) specializing in Network Design and Architecture. Additionally, they earned a degree as a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) in the same year, specializing in Cisco Networking Routers, Switches, and Firewalls. In the field of Wireless Networking, they hold a certification as a Certified Wireless Solutions Engineer (CWSE) from Cisco Systems. Moreover, they have gained expertise in Computer Repair and Service through a certification as an A+ from CompTIA. Jerry also holds certifications in various computer networking domains, including Certified Document Imaging Architect (CDIA+) from CompTIA, Inet+ from CompTIA specializing in Internet technology, Network+ from CompTIA specializing in Computer Networking, and a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) with a focus on Networking.
