Jenia Megel

Jenia Megel has a strong background in system engineering and image processing algorithmics. They started their career at Check-Cap in 2012, where they were responsible for developing an intra-body magnetic tracking system for monitoring capsule position inside the GI tract. They developed real-time algorithms, adapted them to an embedded system, and implemented a PC-based application for position tracking. In 2013, they became an independent developer, focusing on image processing algorithmics until 2015. Since 2015, they have been working at SMARTSHOOTER, first as a Senior System Test Engineer and currently as a System Engineer.

Jenia Megel attended Reali from 1999 to 2003, where they studied physics, although they did not obtain a degree. Later, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in physics at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 2008 to 2012.
