Otmar Jannasch

Otmar Jannasch is a seasoned professional in metallurgy with extensive experience in the steel industry. Currently serving as VP Metallurgy at Smart Steel Technologies since February 2019, Jannasch previously held numerous senior roles at SMS group GmbH from July 2002 to February 2019, including Senior Expert/Project Director Casting, Project Director Metallurgy, and Senior Sales Manager. Jannasch's educational background includes a Diploma in Metallurgy and Material Sciences from Aachen University of Applied Sciences, acquired from 1993 to 1999, and further studies in the field of coke reactions in the blast furnace from 2000 to 2002.
