Alex Decker

Alex Decker serves as the Head of Product Management & Quality Management at smart-TEC GmbH & Co. KG since May 2017, overseeing product management for RFID/NFC tags and the Software-as-a-Service solution IDconnect. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at the University of Applied Sciences in Karlsruhe, where Alex developed a business and product development simulation and supervised student projects. Alex also functioned as an Innovation Coach in a collaborative product development initiative involving Porsche AG, SAP SE, KIT, and UAS Karlsruhe, focusing on connected-car solutions. Earlier roles at BASF encompassed quality management, technical materials management, and optimization projects. Alex holds a Master of Science in Business Administration and Engineering from Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences, as well as a Bachelor of Science in the same field.
