Edgar Debacker

Edgar Debacker has extensive experience in operational leadership and engineering roles within the wood and industrial sectors. Since May 2016, Edgar has held the position of Co-directeur général - Opérations at smart wood, overseeing various factory operations in Germany and France. Previous roles at smart wood include factory director and operations manager. Edgar's experience also includes industrial optimization internships at CasaLuker S.A. and smart wood, as well as production and quality engineering positions at Zerella Fresh, Unilever, and other companies across multiple countries. Edgar holds engineering degrees in biological engineering and industrial engineering from Université de Technologie de Compiègne and Universidad de Zaragoza, respectively.
