Alekh Jindal

Alekh Jindal has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Alekh is currently the CEO and Co-founder of SmartApps Inc. Prior to this, they served as a Board Member, CTO, and Founding Chief Architect at Keebo. Before joining Keebo, Alekh worked at Microsoft as a Principal Scientist Manager, Principal Scientist, and Senior Scientist. Alekh has also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at MIT, focusing on graph analytics using relational databases and data preparation & cleaning. Additionally, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Saarland University, where they conducted research on database cracking. Alekh started their career as a Senior Software Engineer at MIH Web (ibibo), where they developed vertical search engines and a web analytics framework. Alekh also has experience as an Associate Consultant at BT India and as an intern at IBM India Software Lab.

Alekh Jindal's education history begins with their attendance at St. Joseph's College in Allahabad from 1989 to 2001. During this time, they studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Following their undergraduate studies, Jindal pursued a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur from 2002 to 2006. A few years later, from 2008 to 2009, Jindal attended the International Max Planck Research School in Saarbruecken, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science. Jindal then continued their education at Universität des Saarlandes from 2010 to 2012, earning a PhD in Computer Science. Lastly, Jindal completed a postdoctoral program in Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2013 to 2015.
