Alexander Friedland

Alexander Friedland is a software engineer with extensive experience in cloud computing and business intelligence, currently working at SmartAsset since May 2022. Prior to this role, Alexander held positions at Verisk and Katz Media Group, contributing to various software development projects. Previous experience includes developing proprietary business intelligence software at SoftMetrix and completing a full stack web development program at The Flatiron School. Alexander also has a diverse background in project management and operational analysis, having worked at Biosphere Landscape Architecture, The Sarut Group, and Baurkot & Baurkot. Alexander's earlier career included military service as a Lieutenant in the United States Air Force, where responsibilities involved commanding training exercises and overseeing personnel operations. Alexander holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Virginia Military Institute and has also studied Business, Economics, and History at Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona.
