Tanner Harris

Tanner Harris is the current SVP & Market President, Knox County at SmartBank. Prior to this, they were with BB&T for 9 years, where they started as a Commercial Lender and ended as a Vice President/Business Services Officer III. In this role, they managed a $70,000,000 portfolio, solicited and developed new commercial loan relationships, and served as a relationship manager responsible for maintaining existing commercial loans and deposits. Tanner also approved loans within lending authority limit of up to $350,000, provided financial analysis and cash flow projections, and monitored loan portfolios for past due accounts. Prior to BB&T, Tanner was a Retail Management Intern at Collegiate Walgreen's Sam's Club.

Tanner Harris has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Marketing) from the University of Tennessee.

Tanner Harris reports to William Y. Carroll, Jr., President & CEO. They are on a team with Bobby Castle - SVP & Area President, Sevier County, David Conner - SVP & Market President, Blount County, and Andy Hardin - SVP & Area President, Auburn.
