Gabriela Monteiro

Gabriela Monteiro has a diverse work experience in the field of accounting and auditing. Gabriela is currently working as a Senior Accounting Manager at SmartBiz since May 2023. Prior to that, they worked at EY as an Audit Manager in São Paulo, Brazil from June 2021 to January 2023. Before joining EY, they served as an Auditor at PwC in Baltimore, USA from March 2020 to March 2021.

Gabriela also has experience working as a Corporate Controller at Construtora Carrilho from July 2016 to September 2019. Gabriela started their career at PwC Brasil as an Audit Associate in July 2011 and later became a Senior Associate from July 2014 to June 2016.

Gabriela Monteiro completed their Bachelor's degree in Accounting at the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco from 2007 to 2011. Gabriela then pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A) with a focus on Finance, Controlling, and Auditing at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas from 2016 to 2018. In 2019, they attended the English Language Institute at Notre Dame of Maryland University to enhance their English skills.

In terms of additional certifications, Gabriela obtained the Executive Coaching certification from Action Treinamentos & Coaching in November 2018. Gabriela also received the Conselho Regional de Contabilidade (CRC) certification from the Conselho Federal de Contabilidade (CFC) in 2012. In September 2016, they obtained the Cadastro Nacional dos Auditores Independentes-QTG certification from CFC. More recently, in May 2020, Gabriela completed the Human-Centered Design certification from PwC.
