Issac Khalifa-Arbel

Director of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships at SmartBiz Loans

Issac Khalifa-Arbel has a diverse work experience history. Issac started their career at The Israeli Artillery Corps, where they served as a Platoon Sergeant, Artillery Team Commander, and Training Officer at the Commander Academy from 2000 to 2003.

In 2008, they joined Ernst & Young as an Audit Team Manager. During their tenure, they were responsible for developing and executing audit and tax strategies for some of Israel's largest companies. Issac also led a team of professional accountants in the financial services sector. Issac's role involved working closely with shareholders, CEOs, CFOs, and finance departments. Issac managed day-to-day accounts, analyzed and edited financial statements, led the creation of specialized tax reports, mentored junior and senior staff, and managed multiple strategic projects across different advisory departments. For their outstanding leadership, audit performance, and trustworthiness, Issac was awarded the Manager Grant.

Moving forward, Issac joined IKTR as the Founder in 2013. After a year of successful entrepreneurship, they joined SmartBiz as Referral Partnerships Manager in October 2015. In February 2017, they were promoted to Head of Partnerships for non-bank lenders, where they played a crucial role in establishing and maintaining partnerships in the industry. In 2022, Issac became the Director, Head of Network Finance, overseeing financial operations within the company. Finally, in 2023, they were appointed as the Director of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships, responsible for driving growth and establishing strategic partnerships for SmartBiz.

Additionally, in 2015, Issac had a brief internship experience at SmartBiz Loans as an MBA Intern, primarily focusing on credit and strategy.

Isaac Khalifa-Arbel completed their education in a chronological order as follows:

From 2005 to 2008, they attended The College of Management Academic Studies and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business and Accounting.

In 2008 and 2009, they continued their studies at The College of Management Academic Studies, where they pursued Advanced Accounting Studies and also took the CPA bar exams.

From 2014 to 2015, Isaac Khalifa-Arbel attended Hult International Business School and earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree, specializing in Strategy and Finance.

In terms of additional certifications, Isaac Khalifa-Arbel obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification in February 2011. In July 2015, they also obtained the Google Analytics Individual Qualification (IQ). More recently, in 2022, they completed several courses: Leading at a Distance, Managing Teams, and Coaching and Developing Employees, which were offered by LinkedIn.
