Daisy Clay has a diverse work experience in the field of speech and language therapy. Daisy started their career as a Psychology Assistant at Hampshire County Council in 2004 and later worked as a Psychology Research Assistant at the same organization. In 2006, they transitioned to the role of AAC ICT Support Officer at Hampshire County Council, where they provided support and training to children in mainstream and special education who required AAC to communicate. From 2010 to 2014, they worked as a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist at Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust, where they provided therapy to children with complex communication needs. Daisy also worked as a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust from 2014 to 2015. Currently, they are working at Smartbox Assistive Technology, where they have held various roles including Assistive Technology Specialist, AAC Resources Manager, and Head of Content Development.
Daisy Clay obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Psychology & Sociology from the University of Surrey between 2002 and 2006. Daisy then pursued a Master of Science degree in Speech and Language Sciences at UCL from 2008 to 2010.
