Nacho Alfaro García has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Nacho started their career as a Marketing and Communication Assistant at Asociación Navarra Nuevo Futuro, where they focused on developing the organization's communication strategies. Moving on, Nacho joined Dec BBDO as an Account Executive, creating effective communication strategies for clients.
Nacho then transitioned to Hachette Filipachi as a Digital Account Manager, managing both paper and digital divisions of the magazine group. Later, Nacho became a Digital Account Manager at Hearst Magazines, where they worked on growing digital advertising revenues for various websites.
In 2013, Nacho joined Tiendeo as an International Sales Coordinator. Nacho successfully expanded the business model to multiple countries where Tiendeo had a presence. Additionally, Nacho held the position of Key Account Manager at Tiendeo, maximizing the client portfolio in the Spanish market by implementing digital-based strategies.
Currently, Nacho is working at Smartbrand. Nacho started as the Head of Digital Media and later became the Head of Barcelona Office. Presently, they hold the role of Head of Client Services. Smartbrand focuses on offering digital marketing services with a user-centered approach and leveraging technology for growth. They also develop and market the SEO SaaS platform called DWX.
Nacho Alfaro García obtained a licenciatura degree in publicidad from the University of Navarra, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. In 2005 to 2006, they received an Erasmus Scholarship and studied Advertising and Public Relations at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht).
Furthermore, they also achieved the Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) from the University of Cambridge in June 2009. Later, in June 2015, they obtained an Advanced Level certification in Italian from Escuela Oficial de Idiomas.
