Michael Rüffer

Michael Rüffer has an extensive work history in technology and leadership roles. Michael is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Smartbroker AG since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Advisor at Passion.io starting in March 2017. From January 2020 to March 2022, they served as the Chief Technology Officer / Prokurist at Oetker Digital GmbH, where they were responsible for setting and guiding the team towards the company's technological goals. Before that, they were the Head of Engineering at Oetker Digital GmbH from May 2018 to January 2020. Michael also held the role of CTO at Panorama Fashion Fair Berlin GmbH from April 2017 to May 2018. Additionally, they were the Co Founder and CTO at Propertiger from January 2009 to May 2018. Michael has also worked at FinLeap as a CTO in Residence from October 2016 to April 2017 and as Vice President Technology from March 2016 to April 2017. Michael was the Director of Technology at HitFox Group from March 2015 to March 2016. Michael co-founded kirondo GmbH and served as the CTO from April 2013 to March 2015. Before that, they worked as the Technical Director at Deutsche Telekom Innovation Labs from September 2012 to July 2013. Michael also has experience as a Lead Developer at ubitricity from May 2011 to May 2013.

From 2000 to 2005, Michael Rüffer attended Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin, where they obtained a Diploma in Computer Science with a specialization in International Computer Science.
