Uwe Lüders

Uwe Lüders has extensive experience in finance and risk management roles. Starting in 1998, they worked as the Head of Corporate Development at Bank für Sozialwirtschaft AG. Uwe then moved to Volksbank Düsseldorf Neuss as the Head of Finance and Risk Controlling in 2001. In 2002, they joined Akademie Deutscher Genossenschaften ADG as a Division Manager. From 2006 to 2007, they served as the Head of Finance and Risk Controlling / Director at Kölner Bank. Uwe then worked at Hauck & Aufhäuser from 2007 to 2012 as the Head of Group Finance / Director. In 2012, they held the roles of Chief Risk and Chief Compliance Officer at Aquila Group as well as Member of the Management Board / COO & CRO at AQX° Securities. Uwe continued their career at ProCredit Bank AG from 2014 to 2019 as a Member of the Management Board / CFO & CRO. Uwe then became a Member of the Management Board at Raisin Bank AG from 2019 to 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Member of the Management Board / CFO & CRO at Smartbroker AG, starting in September 2022.

Uwe Lüders began their education at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, where they obtained a Vordiplom in Business Administration in an unspecified year prior to 1991. Uwe then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in International Finance at Wayne State University from 1992 to 1994. Later, they continued their studies at Steinbeis Hochschule from 2010 to 2012 and completed a second Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Management in the Financial Services Industry. Additionally, in the same period as their first MBA, from 1992 to 1994, they also obtained a Master of Arts (MA) in Economics from Wayne State University.
