Wireless Network Engineer at Smart City Networks

Doug Sowell began their work experience in 2000 as a Computer Operator at Dameron Hospital Association. From 2002 to 2006, they worked as a Network Information Coordinator/Help Desk Analyst, providing client services for PC hardware, software, printers, wireless devices, and tablets. Doug also installed and supported Imprivata Single Sign-On to enhance clinical/electronic medical record application workflows. In 2006, Doug became a Network Administrator at the same company, overseeing and upgrading Cisco products, performing diagnostics for stability issues, and providing ongoing configuration for hospital network devices. Doug held this role until 2016. In 2016, Doug joined Smart City Networks as a Wireless Network Administrator, where they planned, designed, and configured high-density wireless networks and monitored, maintained, and troubleshooted wireless networks. In 2022, they transitioned to the role of Wireless Network Engineer.

Doug Sowell's education history includes several certifications and courses in the field of networking and information technology. Doug obtained the CompTIA A+ Certification, Microsoft Official Course 2279B on Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Active Directory Infrastructure, and the Cisco SWITCH-Implementing Cisco IP Switched Networks course from Global Knowledge.
