Amartya Majumdar

Amartya Majumdar has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. In 2013, they joined Cyborg Robotics and Automation as a Member, designing autonomous robots to solve various challenges. From 2015 to 2018, they co-founded and worked at Codehub, a technology company. At Cyborg, they served as the Editor of Cyborg Magazine, Bytes, and also as a Coordinator for various robotics and automation events. In 2016, Amartya worked as a Research Intern at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar, focusing on cryptography techniques in cloud computing. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Software Engineer at Teradata, specializing in SQL design and optimization. Amartya then moved to Goldman Sachs, where they held positions as an Analyst, Associate, and Vice President, working on financial and non-financial risk projects. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at SmartCoin Financials.

Amartya Majumdar completed a BTech - MTech Dual Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela from 2013 to 2018. Amartya attended Ravenshaw Junior College from 2011 to 2013, focusing on Science. Prior to that, they studied at SCB Medical Public School, Cuttack from 1999 to 2011. Additionally, they obtained several certifications including a Course in .Net Framework, Course in Advanced Java, Course in Core Java, and an EFSET English Certificate with a score of 73/100, indicating proficiency at the CEFR C2 level. The certifications were obtained from LAKSHYA Solutions Limited and EF Education First, respectively.
