Nadeem Chowdhry

Nadeem Chowdhry has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Nadeem is currently the SVP Sales & Chief Growth Officer at Smartcom since April 2021. Prior to this, Nadeem worked at Cleo as the Managing Director & VP EMEA from January 2017 to April 2021. During their time at Cleo, they successfully re-launched the company in the EMEA region, achieving over 200% growth through innovative B2B and B2C operational initiatives and leveraging disruptive technologies such as SAAS platform, AI, BI, and Security platforms.

Before Cleo, Nadeem held the position of Sales Director EMEA at WorkFusion from December 2014 to 2016, where they played a key role in expanding customer base and partnerships in the Financial Services and Information services sectors, resulting in 200% growth in the EMEA region.

From 2012 to 2015, Nadeem served as the Managing Director & Senior Vice President EMEA at Squirro, where they built and managed a high-performance team and consistently delivered value to global clients in industries such as Financial Services, Pharma, Telco, and Energy. Nadeem also achieved recognition as an Accenture FinTech finalist and successfully onboarded new clients through value-based selling.

Prior to Squirro, Nadeem worked at QlikTech from 2005 to 2012, initially as the Regional Director of Financial Services, and later as the Global Account Director. During their time at QlikTech, they played a pivotal role in winning customers in the banking and insurance sectors in the UK, resulting in the formation of the first sector-specific business unit. Nadeem also mentored and coached new hires while exceeding sales targets and contributing to the company's significant growth.

Nadeem began their career at Clarify as a Regional Sales Manager from 1999 to 2005, and prior to that, they worked as a Senior Account Manager at Sterling Commerce, an AT&T company, from 1993 to 1999.
