Adam Monks is an experienced IT professional with a focus on non-profit sectors and a strong background in managing IT services. As CEO and Co-founder of Smartdesc, established in November 2012, Monks leads a range of services including infrastructure upgrades, IT service desk solutions, and cloud backup. Currently serving as the Non-Profit IT Specialist since September 2021, Monks oversees Smartdesc’s collaborations with in-house IT staff and offers fully outsourced IT solutions. Monks previously held roles as Professional Services Manager at Cloud 9 Data Centre and Service Desk Manager at appiChar UK, beginning a career as a Service Desk Analyst at Atlas Consortium (MoD). Monks holds a BA (Hons) in Business Information Systems from the University of the West of England.
