Mark Hammersley has extensive work experience in various industries. Mark started their career as an Independent Contractor at JCB, where they helped set up their automated testing department. Mark then worked at Michelin as a Plant Project Manager, where they created thermodynamic models to assess the benefits of upgrading heat-exchangers in the factory. Mark then moved to Rolls-Royce Aerospace as a Project Engineer, responsible for developing maintenance procedures for aircraft engines.

After that, Mark worked at IBM BCS as a Pre-sale Technical X-Series Sales, selling Catia CAD software and Intel server and hardware. Mark later became a Sales Consultant, focusing on selling Catia CAD software to the engineering industry in the UK.

Mark's next role was at Siemens as a Software Engineer, analyzing and testing new software for use in diagnostic medicine.

Currently, Mark is working at smartebusiness as the CMO and has been with the company since November 2018.

Mark Hammersley completed their education with a First Class Meng degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Sheffield, attending from 1996 to 2000. Prior to that, they attended Newcastle-under-lyme High School from 1989 to 1996, although no degree or specific field of study is provided for this period. Additionally, Mark obtained a Google Partner certification from Google in July 2014.
