André Cardoso is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Director of Group Controlling at Smartenergy since July 2020. Previously, André held positions such as Business Development Manager at pvgen solar, Chief Financial Officer UK at METKA EGN, and Finance Director for Emerging Markets at Voltalia. Earlier roles include Finance Director and Financial Controller at Martifer Solar UK, Financial Controller at Certisousa, and various finance roles at Verofast, Lda. André is an Executive MBA Candidate at Porto Business School from 2023 to 2025 and holds a Licentiate degree in International Relations from Universidade do Minho, along with two Galileo Master Certificates in Renewable Energy Management and Finance, and Solar Photovoltaic from The European Energy Centre.
