Will Pollard

Will Pollard has a diverse range of work experience in various roles within the communications field. Will most recently worked as Head of Corporate Communications at Smart Energy GB since 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Chief Press Officer at the UK National Audit Office from 2018 to 2020, where they oversaw all press-related activities and developed communication campaigns for high-profile reports. Before that, they worked at Capita as a Media Relations Manager, where they implemented tailored communication strategies for different businesses and contracts. Will has also worked at WPP as a Communications Assistant, managing media relations and the company's Twitter account. Additionally, they have experience in public affairs, having worked at the British Video Association and the National Autistic Society. Will Pollard also has experience in parliamentary and constituency roles, serving as a Parliamentary Intern for Glenda Jackson MP and a Constituency Intern for Chi Onwurah MP. Will began their career as a Trainee Manager at Majestic Wine.

Will Pollard earned a BA Hons degree in History from The University of Manchester in 2009. Prior to that, they completed high school at Gosforth High School from 2000 to 2005. Later, in 2011, they obtained an MSc in The History of International Relations with Merit from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
