Philipp Hofschweiger

Philipp Hofschweiger has work experience as a Software Engineer at Smarter Ecommerce (smec) since October 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Frequentis from June 2012 to July 2020. At Frequentis, they were a full-stack software engineer, mainly working with Java. Philipp was responsible for developing a company-wide distributed E2E test automation framework called "CATS." Philipp'sexpertise includes working with various technologies and protocols such as Docker, Hypervisor, JavaFX, REST, and Selenium. Philipp was also involved in new feature development and served as a part-time Scrum Master.

Philipp Hofschweiger obtained their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Computer Science from Fachhochschule Technikum Wien, where they studied from 2009 to 2012. Philipp continued their education at the same institution and graduated with a Master of Science (MS) degree in Software Engineering & Multimedia from 2012 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Philipp has also obtained several certifications. In May 2013, they became an ISTQB Certified Tester (FL) through the International Software Testing Qualifications Board. In April 2013, they earned the Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering (FL) certification from IREB GmbH. More recently, in October 2019, they obtained the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance.
