Robel Sharma

Robel Sharma has extensive work experience in software engineering and product development. Robel started their career in 2010 as a Software Engineer at Eyeball Networks, where they worked on the company's server team and later on the AFE engine for Internet Audio/Video Communication. In 2015, they joined AnyConnect Private Limited as a Senior Software Engineer, responsible for hiring and managing the engineering team and supporting the development of AnyFirewall Server.

In 2016, Robel Sharma became a Product Development Manager at AnyConnect (US) LLC, where they continued to oversee the engineering team and support the development and testing of AnyFirewall Server. Robel joined AnyConnect in 2017 as a Product Development Manager, managing the engineering team for AnyFirewall Server and AnyConnect software and hosted services. During their time at AnyConnect, they played a key role in supporting deployments to millions of devices, including Fortune 500 companies.

In 2018, Robel Sharma joined Smarter AI as a Principal Software Engineer, responsible for leading the development and enhancement of audio/video streaming, AI, and computer vision products. Robel faced challenges in implementing independent H264 encoding pipeline on a low-end embedded dashcam.

Robel Sharma completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology between the years 2006 and 2010. Prior to that, they obtained their H.S.C degree in Science from B.A.F. Shaheen College, Dhaka, from 2004 to 2006.
