Gustavo Cascante has extensive experience in software development and consulting, particularly within the JDE ecosystem. Currently serving as a Software Development Lead at SmarterCommerce by Premier Group since June 2002, Gustavo collaborates on JDE software projects across Central America, North America, and the Caribbean, managing software application products related to accounting, sales, and third-party integrations. Prior to this role, Gustavo was a Quality Assurance Team Lead at Electronic Data Systems, where leadership was provided for a CMM software certification project in bank credit card processes. Experience also includes work as a JDE Consultant at The Premier Group and a Business Developer for Banco Uno, focusing on software products for the banking industry. Educationally, Gustavo is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Computer Science at Universidad de Costa Rica, having already earned both a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from respective institutions.
