Jared Baribeau

Jared Baribeau's work experience includes a diverse range of roles in the technology industry. Jared is currently the Head of Software Architecture at Smartex.ai since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Solutions Architect at Smartex.ai from April 2022 to March 2023.

Before joining Smartex.ai, Jared was the Co-founder and CTO of Demine Robotics, where they led a team in Cambodia from April 2018 to February 2022. Jared oversaw the development and launch of two products aimed at making landmine clearance safer and faster.

Jared has also gained experience as a Software Engineer Intern at Uber and Luxe in 2017. Jared worked as a Software Developer at Leysin American School in Switzerland from August to December 2016. Jared also served as a Residence Life Don and Orientation Week Coordinator at Conrad Grebel University College from August 2015 to August 2016.

In addition, Jared has worked as a Product Designer at Nulogy, a Business Development Associate at Shoplogix, and a Software Developer at TD Innovation Lab. Jared also completed an internship as an Electromechanical R&D Intern at Stein Industries Inc.

Jared Baribeau started their education at Sir Wilfrid Laurier Secondary School from 2011 to 2013. Jared then pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo, where they studied from 2013 to 2018.
