James Leyba, MBA

James Leyba, MBA has a diverse and extensive work experience. James began their career in 2005 as a Personal Banker at Zions Bank. In 2008, they joined Goldman Sachs as a Manager in Securities Lending and an Associate in Client Onboarding. In 2016, they were an Investment Associate at Principle Funding Group. From 2014 to 2018, they were a Blockchain Consultant at Blockchain Consulting. Most recently, they have been the SVP of Business Development at SmartFi since 2018.

James Leyba, MBA, obtained their BS in Finance from the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business between 2003 and 2008. James then went on to pursue their MBA from Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business between 2010 and 2013, with a focus in Finance, Strategy, Information Systems, and Organizational Behavior. In December 2016, they obtained a certification in Up and Running with Bitcoin from LinkedIn.
