Charles Fraenkl

Charles Fraenkl has held various positions in the corporate world since 2007. Charles began their career as the CEO of United Mobile in 2007, followed by a role as SVP Business Customers & Post Merger Integration of AOL Access Business at HanseNet. In 2008, they became the CEO of ClickandBuy Ltd, an internet payment company, FSA Licensed E-Money Institute and member of the Deutsche Telekom Group. From 2011 to 2018, they held the positions of Group Chief Executive Officer at Gigaset Group and Post Merger Integration ClickandBuy and Mobile Payment at Deutsche Telekom. In 2018, they became the CEO of Canary (canary.is) and Non Executive Director at Circet. In 2020, they became the Chief Executive Officer of Smartfrog & Canary Group, and in 2022 they were appointed as Advisory Board Chair at DNS:NET Holding GmbH.

Charles Fraenkl obtained their Dipl. Ing. ETH degree in Electrical Engineering from ETH Zürich between 1977 and 1982. Charles then went on to pursue an M.Sc. In Mgmt. from the London Business School's Sloan Fellowship Masters Programme between 1992 and 1993.
