Sumit Khemani

Sumit Khemani has worked in the technology industry for over a decade. Sumit began their career in 2008 at Strontium Technology Pte Ltd, where they held the role of Vice President, Product Manager, and Sales and Marketing Executive. In this role, they were responsible for managing a yearly revenue of USD 120 million, providing guidance and leadership to 8 Country Managers, 35 Sales Managers and 8 Brand Managers, and leading business expansion into Europe and Russia. Sumit also worked with management, R&D, marketing and sales teams on product development, and provided the sales team with the necessary technical expertise to enable them to sell the products. Additionally, they built sales from the ground up in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and Philippines, generating additional revenue of USD 4 million per year, and acted as the point person for the company's old and new distributors in Asia Pacific, accounting for revenue of USD 25 million per year. In 2015, Sumit Khemani founded Smartfuture Pte Ltd, where they currently serve as the Founder and CEO. In this role, they provide a Wix-like model for Healthcare Providers to make their own Telemedicine Platform comprising of Apps and Websites. This Platform includes Wireless Health Kits, Kiosks and Pods to capture vitals, integration with existing CMS/EMR systems, integration with last mile companies for medicine pickup and delivery, a marketplace for healthcare providers to offer medicines, insurance and chronic disease management programmes, and documents automatically generated with client's letterhead and sent to patient and other relevant parties.

Sumit Khemani attained their Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore in 2008. Prior to that, they completed the GCE-Cambridge A Levels from Temasek Junior College in 2004.
