Vazgen Hakobjanyan

Vazgen Hakobjanyan currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Yerevan State University, teaching Introduction to Machine Learning in the Masters Program. As the Founder and CEO of The Magical Labs, Vazgen focuses on solving complex intersectional problems in mathematics, biology, physics, and engineering. Furthermore, Vazgen is a Partner at SmartGateVC, which invests in Armenian tech companies, concentrating on AI, IoT, and security. In addition to being a Board Member at YerevaNN and Gate42, Vazgen previously held roles as Technical Advisor at The Crowdfunding Formula and Co-Founder at Teamable Software, enhancing hiring processes through machine learning. Earlier career highlights include positions at Synopsys, Sonics, and Accusoft Pegasus. Vazgen holds a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from Yerevan State University.
