Govinda Upadhyay serves as the Chief Executive Officer of SmartHelio since June 2020, where the focus is on enhancing the profitability and climate resilience of solar plants through innovative software solutions that prevent downtime. Additionally, Govinda has held multiple leadership roles at LEDsafari since June 2014, including Chairperson of the Board, Chief Executive Officer, and President and founder, contributing to educational initiatives that teach solar technology in schools through hands-on experience. Govinda's research background includes roles at EPFL, VITO, and ABB, with a strong academic foundation in sustainable energy, physics, and electrical engineering from prestigious institutions such as EPFL, Eindhoven University of Technology, and Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
