Jakub Kepák

Jakub Kepák has worked in a variety of roles since 2017. Jakub began as a Software Tester for iDoklad.cz at Solitea Česká republika, a.s. in 2017. Later that year, they became a Business Analyst at Apprise, where they worked with customers by phone and online to identify and resolve any issue, reviewed program logic and analyzed database configurations, and worked with Apprise engineers and developers to develop custom enhancements. In 2018, they took on the role of RPA Developer/Analyst at KBC Bank & Verzekering, where they were responsible for creating and managing automation scripts, creating reports using REST API, Qlik Sense, PowerBI or Kibana, and working in scrum in 2-week sprints. In 2021, they became a Frontend Developer (React) at Smartlook. Most recently, in 2022, they began working as a QA & JS Trainer at Software Development Academy.

Jakub Kepák obtained their Bachelor's degree in Tax Law/Taxation from Brno University of Technology between 2010 and 2013. Jakub also attended High school of IT in Brno from 2005 to 2009, where they received their Maturita (czech leaving degree) in Digital Telecommunication. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including ISTQB Certified Tester - Foundation level from the Czech and Slovak Testing Board in March 2018, Scrum Fundamentals Certified from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile in December 2016, Level 2 Award in ESOL (speaking and listening) Guildford College from City & Guilds in February 2016, and Cisco IT Essentials from Cisco.
