Alex Underwood

Alex Underwood is an experienced executive in global agency partnerships and advertising, currently serving as SVP of Global Agency Partnerships at Smartly since July 2025. Previously held the role of Global Head of Agency Development at Reddit, Inc. from August 2022 to July 2025 and provided strategic advisory services at Reset from March 2021 to March 2024. Underwood's career includes significant positions such as Strategic Advisor and Chief Revenue Officer at Vurbl Media, GM of Advertising & Commerce at TeamSnap, and VP Global Head of Agencies and Accounts at Spotify. At Spotify, Underwood was instrumental in building the global agency team and developing key strategies that resulted in substantial growth.
