Hannu Pelkonen

Hannu Pelkonen has over 15 years of experience in the field of web development, software engineering, and team leadership. Hannu has held various roles in different companies, including Smartly.io, SC5, Digia, Nodeta, Palnet Oy, Finnish Defence Forces, and Stala Oy.

At Smartly.io, Hannu served as the Engineering Director from March 2020. Prior to that, they were a Team Lead - Product Engineering from May 2018 to March 2020, where they focused on building a high-performing team and improving communication across different teams. Hannu also actively screened and interviewed candidates for the company.

At SC5, Hannu worked as a Lead Developer from 2012 until September 2016. During this time, they led multiple customer projects, managed customer communication, and chose the appropriate technologies for each project.

Hannu has also worked as a Software Engineer at Digia in 2011, a Web Software Developer at Nodeta in 2010 and 2009, and a Web Software Developer at Nodeta in 2008. In these roles, they developed various products and acted as a Scrum Master for the teams.

Additionally, Hannu has experience working as a Web Software Designer and System Administrator at Palnet Oy in 2007, a Web Software Designer at Palnet Oy in 2006, a Web Software Developer at the Finnish Defence Forces in 2005, and a Flash developer at Stala Oy in 2004.
