Juho Montonen

Juho Montonen has a strong background in software development and engineering. Juho began their career as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Oulu, where they developed numerical simulation programs and conducted data analysis. Juho then worked as a Software Engineer at Combitech Finland, where they designed and implemented real-time interfaces for system integrations. After that, they joined HappyOrNot Ltd. as a Full Stack developer, contributing to a large system renewal project. Juho later joined Siili Solutions as a Software Developer/Consultant. Currently, Juho is a Lead Software Engineer at Smartly.io, where they are responsible for leading software engineering projects.

Juho Montonen earned a Master's Degree in Astronomy from the University of Oulu, which they attended from 2005 to 2015. Later, from 2015 to 2017, they pursued a Master's Degree in Information Technology at the University of Jyväskylä. In October 2020, they obtained the certification of AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
