Emmanuel Bert

Emmanuel Bert is a multicultural traffic engineer with over 20 years of experience in project and product management in the traffic and decision support domains. They began their career in academia as a research engineer and PhD student at École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, where they focused on dynamic urban origin-destination matrix estimation methodology. Transitioning to the industrial sector, Emmanuel played a key role in the development of the Aimsun traffic simulation tool and currently serves as a Senior Region Manager at smartmicro and as the founder and manager of Karrus and Trafic Detect in Spain. Their work centers on providing advanced solutions for mobility challenges, including data collection and traffic monitoring.
