Michelle Matthews (Sarlls) has held a variety of roles in the sales and hospitality industries. In 2007, they began their career as an Account Manager for Smart Circle International. In 2009, they worked as a Bartender for the Dallas Cowboys. In 2010, they joined Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants, Inc. as Vice President of Sales. During their time there, they implemented and managed receipt marketing campaigns, loyalty member email campaigns, store participation in bounce-back/coupon programs, marriage mailers, fundraisers, local social media page postings, B2B cold calling and in-person marketing. Michelle also developed training programs, powerpoints, exams, exercises, videos and online courses for the Community Marketing and Catering programs. In 2017, they were promoted to Vice President of Direct Sales and Catering, where they negotiated contracts for over 60 third party vendors. In 2022, they moved to SmartMoving Software as an Account Executive.
Michelle Matthews (Sarlls) began their education in 2003 at Ball State University, studying Marketing. Michelle then transferred to the University of Louisville in 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing in 2007.
