Cory Ondrejka

Cory Ondrejka currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at SmartNews since September 2023. Previously, Cory held the position of Vice President of Product within Google, where responsibilities included overseeing cross-Google product design and experience, particularly in AI infrastructure. Cory's experience includes serving as a Tech Advisor to the CEO and Entrepreneur in Residence at Ampersand, as well as Founder and CEO of Amp.It. Notably, Cory was Vice President of Engineering at Facebook during the acquisition and integration of Oculus, and has extensive experience leading mobile engineering efforts at the company. Cory's career also includes significant roles such as Chief Technology Officer at Linden Lab, where contributions included co-creating Second Life and managing its development. Cory has an educational background in Computer Science with studies at Boston University and a Bachelor's degree in Weapons and Systems Engineering from the United States Naval Academy.
