Li Ding

Li DING is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in developing data platforms and governance solutions. Currently employed at SmartNews, Inc. since March 2020, Li focuses on creating a Gen AI-centric data platform, along with ETL orchestration (Airflow) and data quality platforms. Prior experience includes roles as an Algorithm Engineer at DataVisor, where the emphasis was on fraud detection, and as a software engineer at a startup, building real-time data platforms. Li also contributed as a Senior Software Engineer at Microsoft, managing the Tax Engine and collaborating with international teams, and held a similar position at SAP, where responsibilities included leading a development team, automating testing frameworks, and applying machine learning algorithms, culminating in a patent grant. Li DING holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Technology from Southeast University.
