Michael Smith is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the Technical Design Team Manager and Technical Design Architect at Smartnumbers since April 2020. With a background in both management and technical support, Michael previously held positions as NOC Manager and NOC Technical Support Specialist at Smartnumbers from 2011 to 2019. Before that, Michael worked as a Business System Analyst and LAN Manager at General Motors for a year as part of a sandwich course, supporting a large user base. Michael’s career began with a role as a Project Administrator at Bury College, where skills in virtual learning environments were developed. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computing from Sheffield Hallam University and a BTEC National Diploma for ICT Practitioners from Bury College.
