Goran S. Milovanovic

Goran S. Milovanović, PhD, serves as the Chief AI Officer and Lead Data Scientist at SmartOcto since January 2022, spearheading AI transformation in Media and Editorial Analytics. Additionally, Goran holds the position of President at Machinery and is the Owner of DataKolektiv, a Data Science and Engineering consultancy established in February 2017. Previous roles include Senior Data Scientist, contractor for Wikimedia Deutschland e. V., Data Scientist for DiploFoundation, and Lecturer at the Libertarian club Libek. Goran has extensive experience in predictive analytics, machine learning, and data science mentorship. Educational qualifications encompass a PhD in Psychology from the University of Belgrade, supplemented by advanced studies at New York University and an early foundation in Mathematics and Computer Science.
