Benoit Jottreau is a Senior Sports Quantitative Analyst at Smartodds, with a focus on building and implementing predictive models for Football, US Sports, and Tennis since September 2009. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Master Finance at Université Denis Diderot (Paris VII) and in Algebra, Analysis, and Probabilities at Université de Marne la Vallée. An internship as a Quantitative Analyst at Gaz de France involved forward gas market modeling, and earlier, Benoit was a Mathematics Teacher at Lycée Condorcet. Benoit holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics from Université Paris-Est and advanced degrees in Financial Mathematics and Mathematics.

Our team of quantitative analysts develop and implement predictive statistical models for sporting events (primarily football), and we combine the results of this research with reports produced by our team of sports analysts who provide in depth analysis of past and future matches. The data produced by this research is presented to our clients in software and web pages specifically customised for them by our software development team. Our clients then use this information to help make decisions about bets on sporting events.
