Tarek M. Daouk

Tarek M. Daouk is a distinguished hospitality professional and investor, currently serving as Founder, Managing Partner, Board Member, and Investor at Smartotels Group Holdings since September 2013. Tarek has successfully developed and launched FORM Hotel Dubai and actively invests in hospitality projects across the US, Europe, and Asia. Tarek provides consultancy to sovereign wealth funds, private equity firms, and high-net-worth individuals on distressed real estate and hospitality strategy. Previous roles include Founder and CEO of Hoken, Senior Advisor at Tourism Development Fund, and Head of Hospitality at Goldman Sachs in Europe, where responsibilities included hotel acquisition and asset management. Tarek holds an MSc in Real Estate from Columbia University and dual BSc degrees in Hospitality Management and Hotel & Tourism Management, both earned with distinction.
