James Lanphere

James Lanphere has a diverse work experience. James started as a Senior Financial Analyst at SmartPractice in 1998 and stayed there until 2000. James then worked as the Director of Finance for the Western Region at American Tower Corporation from 2001 to 2002. After that, they joined American Express as a Business Analyst in Technology Finance from 2002 to 2004. At SmartPractice, they returned to the company as the Senior Director of International Finance, focusing on M&A activities and real estate transactions. Additionally, they worked as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor for the MBA Program at Grand Canyon University, teaching Managerial Finance since 2015.

James Lanphere earned their Bachelor's degree in Production Operations Management from Arizona State University, where they attended from 1987 to 1992. James later pursued their Master's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance at the W. P. Carey School of Business, also at Arizona State University, from 1996 to 1998.
