Pranay Soni

Pranay Soni has a diverse work experience in finance and business roles. Pranay is currently working as the Director of Business Finance at SmartQ since July 2022. Prior to that, they served as an Associate Director of Business Finance at Unacademy from August 2021 to June 2022. Pranay also held positions at OYO as a Senior Manager of Global FP&A from November 2020 to August 2021, and as a Manager of Global FP&A from November 2019 to November 2020.

Before joining OYO, Pranay worked at Reliance Jio as a Senior Manager in Finance, Compliance, and Accounting from September 2018 to November 2019. Additionally, they gained valuable experience at Vodafone, where they held various roles including Manager of National Business Finance & Operations from February 2017 to September 2018, Manager of Corporate FP&A from December 2015 to February 2017, and Assistant Manager of Corporate FP&A from June 2015 to November 2015.

Pranay's early career began in 2014 when they joined Vodafone as a Discover Graduate. During this time, they successfully managed a prepaid distributor with a high GIS, resulting in a significant increase in acquisition. Pranay also improved GAS metrics during their tenure.

Additionally, Pranay Soni obtained the certification of clearing CFA Level 1 from the CFA Institute.
