Daryl Stemm

Daryl Stemm has had a diverse range of work experiences throughout their career. Daryl is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Finance at SmartRent, an enterprise software company that focuses on providing smart home operating systems to residential property owners and operators. Prior to this, they were the Owner of DS Financial Services. Before that, they worked as the Director of SEC Reporting at Best Western® Hotels & Resorts, where they were responsible for preparing all SEC filings. Daryl also held similar roles at Invitation Homes, Starwood Waypoint Homes, and Colony Starwood Homes, where they managed the departments responsible for timely and accurate SEC filings and served as the primary point of contact for independent outside auditors. In addition, they have served as the Chief Financial Officer at Pathion Inc, an energy solutions company, and as the Managing Director at Evergreen Transaction Partners, an advisory firm specializing in green technology and clean energy projects. Daryl has also held CFO and VP Finance & Admin roles at Home Director, Inc. and Amazing Smart Card Technologies, Inc., respectively.

Daryl Stemm attended UC Santa Barbara from 1979 to 1983 and earned a Bachelor of Business Economics with a focus on Accounting. Prior to their college education, they attended Pacifica HS, but no details regarding degrees or fields of study were provided for this period.
