Russell C. Neal

Russell C. Neal has extensive experience in property inspection and project assessment, currently serving as a Community Surveyor Supervisor/Project Assessment Analyst at SmartRent since May 2021. Prior to this role, Russell worked at Vanguard Emergency Management from September 1996 to June 2021 as a Housing Inspector, where over 25,000 inspections were completed, focusing on structural stability and damage assessments. Additional experience includes a position as a Construction Inspector with the City of Detroit from March 2017 to June 2018 and as a Senior Field Technician with Ninyo & Moore Geotechnical and Environmental Sciences Consultants from December 2010 to March 2016, where responsibilities included observing construction processes and performing soil tests. Education includes coursework in Psychology at Western Michigan University from 1986 to 1987.
